Just finished reading "Cockfight, Horserace, Boxing Match (Why elections are covered as sport: Lessons learned from the 2004 campaign coverage)" by the PCIJ. Six years after, it's still the same storyline we're watching in the news and reading in the papers.Given the implications courted by the title of the book (and with all election factors held constant), methinks that on May 10, we won't be actually voting but BETTING as to who will win the cockfight, horserace and boxing match...What do you know, this can be good pay-per-view stuff...go quick, call HBO...NOW
